Horizon Forbidden West ROG Ally Game Settings

Horizon Forbidden West is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by machines. The player takes on the role of Aloy, a skilled hunter who ventures into a forbidden frontier called the Forbidden West to unravel a mysterious new threat that is causing the land to die.

Horizon Forbidden West ROG Ally Game Settings

Currently the only way to run this game is by setting your VRAM to Auto. There’s also crashing issues when compiling shaders during cutscenes when the textures are set to High.

To get Horizon Forbidden West playing well enough for me, I lowered the resolution and combined that with FSR which overall reduced the image quality.

Playing at either 25 or 30W with my settings gave me an I average above 30 FPS through out my playthrough. It’s not the best looking experience but its somewhat playable at least.

AMD released new drivers for this game but I have no idea when ASUS will implement that into their own GPU drivers but I hope its soon.
