Maniac ROG Ally Game Settings

Maniac is a wild, fast paced destructive action rogue-lite game that’s inspired by the top down Grand Theft Auto 1 & 2.

Run around on feet or steal a nearby car. You get to play with up to six different characters, each with different abilities, gear and upgrades to unlock guns and explosions. Just like GTA, as you pile up crimes, the police will get more intense chasing after you. You will be evading from cop cars to military forces. The game is full of non stop explosive physics and destruction and you can play it in three different top down camera angles. Static Helicopter, TV Helicopter and the classic Top-Down view.

Changing TDP

Open up Armoury Crate, click Settings, click Operating Mode and click Manual Mode. Now when you open up the Command Center, you can adjust your TDP with the new slider. Set them all to 15W.

Maniac ROG Ally Game Settings

Playing Maniac at 900p 15W looks and runs great on the ROG Ally. With my settings I got an average of 60 FPS even through all the explosions and mayhem going on at the screen at once. This is definitely a fun playthrough on a handheld device like the Ally, it releases on Steam on March 28th. There is also a demo available if you want to try it out.
