Raccoo Venture is a 3D platformer adventure game that reminds me of the classic 3D platformers from the Nintendo 64 days. You play as a raccoon who must use his cunning and agility to navigate his way through a treacherous forest filled with dangers.
Creating Manual 15W TDP
Open up Armoury Crate, click Settings and then click Operating Mode.
Click Manual and then select a manual mode in the drop down menu to edit. Change all three settings under CPU to this.
Next you want to adjust the fan curves for Fan 1 and 2 to look like mine or to your preference.
You can save your settings by clicking the check mark and rename your settings by clicking the 3 dots next to the checkmark.
Applying 15w mode to the Game
Go to Game Library in Armoury Crate, highlight the game you want to edit and press X on your controller. Click Configuration, then click Operating Mode DC and select the custom operating mode you just created.
The custom mode will be automatically applied the next time you launch the game.
Raccoo Venture runs and looks excellent on the ROG Ally. Play at native 1080p at High settings will get you an average of 70 to 90 FPS. If you want more FPS you can set your resolution to 900p to get over 100 FPS for an even smoother experience.
Raccoo gives me old school Mario 64 vibes with its fun platforming, puzzles, challenging levels and bosses. Through out your adventure you can unlock different costumes to choose to wear from your closet in your home. You also need to make sure you explore each level thoroughly as you need to find relic pieces in each level to help unlock access to future levels. There’s also minigames to play to unlock more abilities.
