The ROG Harpe Ace gives you the flexibility to connect your mouse three different ways, a wired connection, 2.4 GHz RF and bluetooth. Wired gives you the lowest latency latency out of three but could restrict you from moving your mouse the way you want, 2.4 Ghz wireless connection is my preferred choice for my gaming PC, giving you a great balance of flexibility and performance. Bluetooth is perfect to pair with other devices that you’re not planning on gaming with.
Pairing With The ROG Ally
Since I have the mouse connected to my gaming PC with the 2.4 GHZ wireless connection, I setup the bluetooth connection to my ROG Ally incase I need to use a mouse at any point. Switching between the two is so easy, at the bottom of the mouse there’s a switch that let’s you toggle between bluetooth, wired and 2.4 Ghz instantly with no delay. Hold the pair button on the bottom of the mouse, go to settings – bluetooth & devices and connect to the mouse. The ROG Ally just like your gaming PC will use Armoury Crate to let you adjust all your mouse settings to your liking.

Inside Armoury Crate you will have the option to customize the functions of the buttons on the mouse, create dedicated mouse profiles with custom DPI’s, adjust the RGB lighting, calibrate the mouse to your mousepad, check the battery percentage, update the mouse firmware and launch straight to Aim Lab.
Aim Lab
Aim Lab is a first person shooter aim training platform that helps gamers improve their aiming skills. ROG and Aim Lab collaborated to give all Harpe Ace users access to a bunch of exclusive Aim Lab training tasks and challenges. I used the variety of training challenges dedicated to Rainbow Six to help improve my aim and the Aim Lab settings optimizer analyzed my performance to create the best settings for me.
