The RGB lights are the first thing that stands out on the dock and it comes with 6 modes that can be controlled via the OpenRGB software when connected to a PC. You can also long press the top middle of the dock to turn off and on the lights.
Next are the 12 functional ports at your disposal. The dock features 1 SD Card Slot, 1 TF Card Slot, 2 USB-A 3.2 ports, 1 USB-C 3.2 and 1 USB-A 2.0 port. It also has a HDMI and Display port that outputs 4K@120Hz resolution plus a Gigabit ethernet port.
All these ports make it easier to connect your mouse, keyboard, external hard drives and more. What stands out is the SD Card Slot which is something us ROG Ally users are currently without as it’s a damaged internal component of the ROG Ally. I took my SD Card that’s filled with my emulators and roms and inserted it into the dock for some docked emulation gaming.
