Enabling AMD RIS

AMD Image Sharpening helps improve the picture quality of your game and is built into the ROG Ally.

  • Open up the Command Center, go to settings and add the AMD RIS shortcut.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon ROG Ally Game Settings

I averaged 40-60fps in some missions and then a low 30fps in missions like the desert at 900p. This is a very hard game so the more frames the better especially when you’re trying to evade 100 missiles at a time. I wish Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon had some type upscaling tech like FSR that could help with performance.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon at 720p upscaled to 1080p with AMD RSR the performance was smoother with a higher average in FPS in each mission, although the desert mission was still tough to get pass the 30-40 fps mark. Visually the game doesn’t look the greatest with these settings but the extra frames help you react faster and move through out missions easier.

Overall if you want to get an extra performance boost, you can play this game while plugged in.
