ROG Ally Comfort Grip Case

ROG Ally Comfort Grip Case

If your hands are cramping up while using the ROG Ally, RobbDot3D created the ROG Ally Comfort Grip Case. These grips slide and attach to the bottom of the ROG Ally and add a comfortable amount of bulk to the device’s handles making it much more comfortable to hold for long periods of time. You can buy it in a multiple of different colors for $19.99 here.

I definitely I got cramps in my hands while using the Ally before and these help by making the device feel a bit wider similar to the Steam Deck. Although it would of been better with some type of grip like texture on these, the plastic grips overall feel just right in the hands. Making long gaming sessions less painful for people with bigger hands like myself.

The ROG Ally Comfort Grip Case also blocks some of the bottom speaker holes when attaching to the ROG Ally but I haven’t noticed any difference in the sound from the speakers.

Color options

There are a handful of options to choose from when it comes to colors, I decided to keep it simple and match my ROG Ally with White.

With the grips attached, the ROG Ally does not fit in the dock unless you lean it forward.

ROG Ally Comfort Grip Case Installation

Attaching the Comfort Grip Case is pretty simple, align it with the bottom holes of each speaker, snap in the clip and you’re done.

  • There are tabs that slot into the bottom speakers holes of the device and a snap on the side of the grips.
  • Make sure that the tabs are seated into the bottom speaker holes before applying pressure to the side snaps!
  • Once the grips are snapped into place they are ready for gaming use!
