Halo Infinite ROG Ally Game Settings

Halo Infinite is the sixth game in the Halo series and the first to have a free to play multiplayer and an open world campaign.

Below I take a look at the performance and what settings I use for a playable experience.

Halo Infinite ROG Ally Game Settings

Halo Infinite is a tough game for the ROG Ally especially with the introduction of the open world campaign. There’s no FSR to help us get extra frames so I lowered the resolution scale to it’s lowest setting to trigger Infinite’s upsampling.

While playing the campaign I managed to get a roughly 50 fps while indoors with dips during parts with multiple enemies on the screen. While outside in the open world part of the campaign I averaged in the low to mid 40’s fps when shooting against the banish but drop into the 30’s when driving the Warthog or Mongoose around. You could always put everything on Low to get some extra frames. I suggest using 30W for the campaign.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer on the other hand hovers over 60fps with the same settings during matches.

Halo Infinite's open world campaign could be tough to handle on the ROG Ally but the Multiplayer plays great.
